Jamie Hodgson and Scott Scheer each scored hattracks on a defenceless Larry Sarge in the Lynnwood nets. Other snipers for Super Valu were Mike Cambell, Doug Camp- bell, Tom Thorpe, all with a pair, while singles went to Kevin Berg and Jim Butterfield. Ringette underway THIS PAST weekend saw lots of ringette action starting the season Friday night when the Tween A team, known as Bennett’s Brats and coached by Ron Bennett and Gordon Scott, made the rainy trip to Aldergrove worthwhile by winning 3-1. Saturday was all Langley versus North West Van- couver teams with games played in both Langley and the Karen Magnusson Arena. The Petite A team, ably coached by Beth Bennett came second 12-0 in a game that was a ‘‘first’’ for many. Tween B, coached by Ed Holt and Don Hopps, beat their counterparts in a fast moving, 5-1 victory. The Junior Belle A’s, coached by Chern Heed, were squeaked out of a win by Langley 5-4, while John Reynolds’s Jr. Belle B’s came out on the short end of a 13-3 score.
