overcrowded. After standing
in line to get‘& seat at a table

crowd behind us unbearable.
The dealers were . anything
but friendly and ‘it was next
to impossible to sit at a table
with anything less than a $5
minimum bet.

The line-ups for the slot

machines were the same and
despite thousands of people
cranking away there didn’t
seem to be many bells ring-
ing. The change girls were
run off their feet and you
didn’t dare leave your
machine to get change
yourself.

We waited.over half an
hour to get into a washroom
where the harried attendant
assured us that it was twice as
bad on weekends.

Nevada casinos feature
cheap food, -usually good,
and low-priced drinks. ‘The

idea is to keep hungry and .

thirsty. patrons from. leaving
the casino. “Atlantic. City

doesn’t have this problem —'

every table and machine is
fully loaded at all times so
they charge the earth for
food and. drink. The service
isn’t so hot, either.

I know that more casinos
have been completed since I
was in Atlantic City which
may have improved the
scene. Any comments,
readers?

aren’t considered delinquent
by doing your taxpaying in
Canada.

Could your departure from
the country of your birth be
in any way illegal? In the con-
fusion * following WW HU,
many people didn’t complete
all the formalities before they

poor time to find out when
you’re facing a couple of
machine-guns at a border
crossing. You may have been
a babe in arms at the time but
many countries keep long
records.

Do yourself a favor and
