the ‘B’ sports racing champlomship every year since 1977.

Munro has been the
ICSCC Northwest B Sports
Racing champion for four
consecutive :years. He has
set'and still holds lap records

at both Portland = In-
ternational Raceways and

Westwood.

The 25 year old driver -

owns his own stable of cars
including a 1955 TR 2 and a
1960 Austin Healey 3000 as
well as 3500 cc V8 Genic.

Last year Munro finished
first overall at the beginning
of the Westwood season and
then finished the year with a
lap record in the final race.

eyed sprite. He picked up his
Huffaker Genie in 1976.

Since 1977 Munro has
captured the B sports racing
championship and in 1979
was nominated for driver of
the year among all classes of
racers.

The excitement of
Westwood racing draws an
increasing number of
spectators each year. Of the
fifteen Northwest circuit
races this season, four are
slated for Westwood, the
first being April 4 and 5.

Many of the North Shore
cars involved, including
Munro’s, will be on display
this spring in various Lower
Mainland malls.
