Builders’ Association of
B.C. (CHBA-BC) and the
Ministry of Human
Resources and Housing
recently announced that
their second annual award
ceremonies will occur Oct.
28 at the B.C. Housing
Convention in Victoria.
Applications in nine sepa-
rate categories are now being
accepted at the CHBA-BC
offices at the B.C. Housing
Industry Training Centre,
BCIT Campus, 3700 Will-
ingdon, Burnaby.
Established to recognize
excellence in residential con-
struction, the competition is
Open to anyone within the
industry in British Colum-
bia. Prizes of $1,000 will be
awarded in the following

categories:
e Single family homes
under $80,000

eSingle family homes
over $80,000 outside metro
areas.

*Single family homes
over $80,000 in metro areas.

© Multi-family projects
with 24 units or less.

e Multi-family projects
