Romilly on June 6: Kenneth Robert Carron, $1, of North Vancouver, was fined $300 after he pleaded not guilty to impaired driving, but instead pleaded guilty to the lesser or included offence of dri- ving without consideration. The original charge stemmed from a March 18 incident in North Vancouver District. Before Judge Reginald Grandison on April 5: Serafino Cusano, 19, of North Vancouver, was jailed 10 days and fined $300 after he pleaded guilty to driving while prohib- ited on the Trans-Canada Highway in West Vancouver on Jan. 15. The jail sentence was recommended to be served by elec- tronic monitoring. Before Judge Bill Rodgers on March 15: Tande Berta, 21, no address given, was fined $250 after she pleaded guilry to stealing two snowboards on Jan. 34 in West Vancouver. Berta was required to pay one of the victims $30 restitution. gO Abolfazn } Mirabdollah, 26, of North Vancouver, received 12 months probation after he was found guilty of harassing a man between Sept. 29, 1999 and Dec. 3, 1999 in North Vancouver City. Mirabdollah was prohibited from possessing guns for five years. A Farsi interpreter was required for court. 000 Geoffrey Paul Marshall, of North Vancouver, received 18 months probation after he pleaded guilty to two probation breaches: @ failing to report to a probation officer on Aug. 20, 1999 in North Vancouver City; @ failing to take peychological or psychiatric counselling in May and June of 1999. Before Judge Jerome Paradis on March 15: . Lawrence W. Horobec, 47, of Vancouver, was jailed one day after he was convicted of defrauding six people of moncy > between Sept. 8, 1999 to Sept 15, 1999 in North Vancouver.
