Stock and revulsion are the only responses to the receat rul-
ing by Mr. Justice Duncan Shaw of the BoC. Supreme Court
that possession of child pornography is legal undee the Charter

of Rights and Freedanis.

This judge completely dismissed the rights and freedoms of
the children: being victimized in the producnon of such filthy
material, Judge Shaw's raling came down on a Friday. Rather
than merely muse about the possibility of appealing it, Glen
Clark and Gordon Campbell should have ordered an emergency

debate in the B.C. Legislature the following Monday
