NORTH VANCOUVER RCMP
police arrested two males on Oct.
23 in connection with an alleged
burglary at a residence in the 700-
block of East 8th Street.

One suspect was caught alleged-
ly running away from the residence.
The second suspect was apprehend-
ed standing on top of a compost
box in the back yard of the resi-
dence, according to a North
Vancouver RCMP spokesman.

Police say they found the back
door of the house pried open and
some of the homeowner's property
stacked near a door. A concerned
neighbor called police after notic-
ing a young man standing on the
front steps of a nearby house.

The neighbor also saw a red
Toyota pickup tuck parked in front
of the residence with another male
sitting in the passenger side. Both
males were allegedly seen going (0
the back of the home. .

James Gordon Danvers, 41, of
no fixed address, was charged with
break and enter.

A !4-year-old male was also
charged. He cannot be identified.
