Brac] Ledwide BRIGHT LIGHTS HAVING A good time was no crime during Police Week. And on May 19, 20, and 21 the RCMP were at Lonsdale Quay to exhibit a wide range of their crime fighting methods. Members of the public took the opportunity to chat with the bicycle patrol and the dog squad and also got the chance to explore the inside of a patrol car. NORTH VANCOUVER City Hail was the location for the open- ing of artist Alan Reynolds’ (left) exhibit on Thursday, May 19. He welcomed many friends to the show who were eager to see his landscapes, seascapes, portralts and still-lifes, ail palnted in a reaifstic style. He has also completed a number of semi- absiract paintings. His media inciude oils, watercolors and acrylics. ae Reynolds has been drawing and painting from a very early age.. He is an active member of the Federation of Canadian Artists . and is president of the West Vancouver Sketch Club.
