C4 - Wednesday, January 16, 1985 - North Shore News DIVIDED HOMES Dealing with divorce IT HAS BEEN estimated that by the time our new- borns reach 18 years, 50 per cent of them will not be living with both original parents. Children from Divided Homes, a course sponsored by North Shore Family Ser- vices, has been developed to meet the needs of this in- creasing population. Many children are bewildered and confused by the diverce process, even though parents may have the best of intentions. Parents, already feeling hurt themselves, may find the ex- tra responsibility of re- assuring their children understandably difficult. But this means the children are left with a thousand and one unanswered questions. With a sensitive and skilled group leader, and using arts and crafts with which the children are comfortable, these feelings can be expressed. SILK SALE WAREHOUSE CLEARAN!
