These father-child pro- grams are under the leader- ship of Y Program Director, Bruce Cox, who says, ‘‘These exciting programs are design- ed for busy, working fathers. Participating together, fathers and children learn friendship, understanding and appreciation for each other. Fathers are able to gain new appreciation for their child’s abilities, needs and unique personality. ‘f{unctioning in family, social and job situations and is in- dicated in marital discord, child abuse, attempted suicide and accidents. Because of the media coverage PMS has received over the past two years, suf- ferers have learned they are not alone. Groups are being formed in many communities that heip these women under- stand what is happening to them and what they can do about it.
