through the roof — cutting a
hole into the furnace room
and shinning down a_ hot
water pipe to the floor of the

Last time they raided the
premises at 161 East First
Street — a few days before
Christmas — they used the
chainsaw to cut a hole and
get in from the warehouse
below.

And judging by the items
stolen, they were probably

themselves to all the

widow corsets and so on.
Friday they took the same

kind of things — and more.

“They took $10,000 of
stuff, my cost,” says
Jamieson.

She knows what they took,
because of the racks of
empty hangers. And _ she
knows they threw it out of
the window, because she
found a couple of items in
the street below — a men’s
G-string and panties.

They took a whole box of
lingerie which had just
arrived at the store, shortie
nightdresses and six packets
of what Jamieson describes
as “fun books”.

The evidence shows they
personally tried on at least
some of the items.

“They tried pantyhose on,
in the’ bathroom,” = says
Jamieson. “I know, because
they left them there. They
must have just had a ball in
here.”

What's more, they were
pretty determined about
