Vocal Jazz Festival held at Carson Graham School March 2-3. The North Vancouver school’s senior vocal jazz bands, under the direction of instructor Janet War- ren, captured four awards at the weekend competition including first place in the junior class, se- cond in the senior “A” category, first in senior “AA” and was named best overall sweepstakes winner.
