LOAD RESTRICTIONS

Pursuant to Section 26 of the Highway Act and
the provisions of the Commercial Transport Act,
notice is hereby given that, effective 12:01 a.m.
Saturday March 10, 1990, the following load
restrictions will be applied within the Howe Sound

Highways District.

Until further notice, a 70% load restriction will be
imposed on the following routes:
Sea to Sty Highway #99
-from the 19 Mile Bridge at Whistler north
to its terminus at Pemberton

Pemberton Meadows Road
-from its junction with Sea to Sky
Highway #99 to the end of the public road

Pemberton Portage Road
-from its junction with Sea to Sky High-
way #99 to the end of the public road at

Darcy.

No person shall operate any vehicle over the
above noted highway having a weight in excess
of 70% of the legal axle weight, not withstanding
the applicable percentage of tolerances provid-
ed under Section 7.06 (2) of the regulations pur-
suant to the Commercial Transport Act.

All term overload permits are invalid for the dura-

tion of this restriction.

Violators of the regulations and restrictions will

be prosecuted.
