I never pot a chance to see Piaf, Her Life and Loves when it first opened at City Stage back in late April. People who had seen it were excited about the pro- duction, and particularly about the vibrant perfor- mance of Jocle Raby.in the crucial central role of Piam Finally I saw the show in mid June but felt it was too late to write about as it was ending the end of that mon- th. A late bouquet for Piaf I was excited to receive a press release Monday an- nouncing the show had been held over yet another month until the end of July as it gives me a chance to add my praises to the rest. The exciting show is a much needed lift to the financially beleaguered City Stage, and a thrill not to be missed for anyone who has not yet is outstanding production.
