traffic and parking in their quiet cul-
de-sac. -

Parks and Recreation . Director
Kevin Pike told the News that his
department is working to. maintain
West Vancouver's trail system. -

“Huge numbers of people are
turning. to hiking...we're trying to
respond to that demand,” he said.

groups have adopted-and begun. to’

help withthe. the maintenance of
certain trails. :

he Council for the Corporation of the District of North Vancouver, pursuant to the
. provisions of the Municipal Act, hereby gives notice of its intent to amend the Zoning
Bylaw as described below:

Bylaw 6757 - “Rezoning Bylaw 1025"

Applicant: The Corporation of the District of North Vancouver

Proposed Text Housekeeping Amendments to the Zoning Bylaw to:
delete the definitions of "storey, main" and "storey, second" and"
_ replace them with a new definition for "storey, upper";

replace the terms “lot coverage" and “site coverage" with the term”
“building coverage” in Tables 502.2, 502.3 and 503.3; and
replace the regulation for ' ‘combined side yards" i in Tables 502.2 and
503.2 with a new regulation as follows: "a minimum of 20% of the lot
width"; and 7
delete the regulation for upper storey floor z area in the Marlborough
Heights (RSMH) Zone (siiown on map below) in Table 503.2 and.
replace it with a new regulation as follows: "shall not exceed 50% of

. the width and 50% of the total floor area of the largest storey below ©
