BARKER - A. James, peacefufly passed
away February 10, 1994 after a coura-
geous haltle with cancer. Born in West
Vancouver, January 23, 1912, he was a
charter member of that community, past
Master of King David Lodge A.F. & A.M.
and a member of Gizeh Temple Shrine,
He is lovingly remembered by son David
(Margaret), grandsons Tony and Scott,
sister Peggy Allen and brother Bill
Barker, both of Victoria, many other rel-
atives and friends. A Celebration of his
Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Febru-

ISAKSSON - Karl Erik passed away sud-
denty on February 12, 1994 at home, at

Lillian Ethel Matthes (Poulton) of
Kamloops, B.C. and formerly of North
Vancouver, passed away at the age of 85
years,

She is survived by her one daughter
Shirley Bartyik of North Vancouver, one
son Tom Poulton of Kamtoops, six
grandchildren, six great-grandchildren
and her one niece Adelia Tyson of
Chilliwack and one nephew Stan Bishop
of Saskatchewan, She was predeceased
by her husband Bill Matthes, her former
husband of 40 years, Harvey Poulton,
and her one sister Maty Bishop.

A memorial service will be held in the
Schoening Funeral Chapel on Wednes-
day, February 16 at 2 p.m. with Pastor

RUTLEY - Alma, late of North Van-
couver, died peacefully at Evergreen
House, North Vancouver, on February 13,
1994, in her 94th year. Alma was
predeceased by her husband Harvey in
1969, sister Blanche, son Terry Rutley in
1947, stepson Alex Rutley. She will be
lovingly temembered by her two loving
daughters, Betty Schindle, Chilliwack,
Peggy Noble, North Vancouver; stepson
William (Ebba) Rutley, Chilliwack; step-
daughter Mary (Jack) Sarr, Cutknife,
Saskatchewan; sixteen grandchildren
and nine  great-grandchildren. Funeral

Henderson's Funeral Hume, Chilliwack,
Reverend Sarah Wallace officiating.
