serving military unit, will hold a
special change of command cere-
mony on Saturday.

Maj. John W. Mckay. CD, the
squadron commanding — officer
since 1987, will hand over the
leadership of the unit to Maj.
Vince A. Larocque, CD, during
Saturday’s ceremony.

The event is scheduled for 2
p.m. and will be held in the Lt-
Col. J.P. Fell Armoury. at 1513
Forbes Ave., in North Vancouver.

Members of the public are in-
vited to attend the ceremony.
Seating will be available at 1 p.m.

Field Squadron will celebrate its
80th year.

The officers and the men and
women of the squadron have a
proud tradition of providing
community services to the North
Shore and look forward to carry-
ing on the tradition in the years to

Membership in the unit is made
up primarily of local North Shore
men and women who have
devoted a large part of their lives
