Geearue a 2 - Friday, January 29, 198% ~ North Shore News Former teacher faces more sex charges FORMER WEST Van- couver elementary school. teacher Alan Tsutomu Homma, already charged with 13 sexual-assault related charges, has had two additional sex charges laid against him. West Vancouver Police charged Homma Thursday with two counts of sexual assault for offences alleged to have occurred in. West Vancouver between September 1985 and June 1986 and September 1986 and June 1987. Police say both new charges it- volve boys. Homma js scheduled to appear in Vancouver county court for trial Feb. $1 on seven counts of gross indecency, five counts of buggery and one count of sexual assault. The 13 original charges stem from an alleged series of incidents involving a former male student during the period between March 1981 and December 1983. Police say the two new charges are based on evidence that came to light subsequent to the initial in- vestigation. Homma will face the new charges in West Vancouver pro- vincial court at a date yet to be determined.
