While the tree is in full leaf,
gardeners have an opportunity to
see where reduction is required.

Sucker sheots, epicormic
growth, dead and diseased limbs
and rubbing branches can all be
removed in the summer.

This will allow the desirable
branches to develop more as the
tree will not need to supply
nutrients to undesirable branches.

main limbs and shape of a tree,

Disinfect tools between trees or

A phenol-base lysol may be used
for disinfectant.
