A man wanted by police for jumping parole
finally gave himself up in North Vancouver
Sunday while RCMP officers were hunting him
after a woman complained he had threatened her

with a knife.

A Canada-wide warrant
for the arrest of Thomas
Arthur Damon _ has_ been
issued in August after failing
to report to his parole officer
in Manitoba when his parole
was revoked.

Police say the 36-year-old
man has been in and out of
jail continually in the past 20
years and he was serving
three years for fraud.

plained to the RCMP had
met Damon after replying to
