James Sinclair made an outstanding con- tribution during the time he was minister of fisheries and naming this ship in his honour is one way we can pay tribute to his efforts” commented Fisheries Minister Romeo LeBlanc. “It is also fitting because, as minister, he spent a lot of time aboard patrol vessels, talking to the crews and finding out about their problems at first hand.” Candidates meeting An all candidates meeting sponsored by the North Lonsdale Ratepayers Association will be held Tuesday, November 4 at 8 pm in the Library of the Carisbrooke Elementary School, 510 East Carisbrooke Road, North Vancouver, to meet and hear the candidates running for District council and the school board.
