NSHR LEaps THE WAY The North Shore Health Region will soon unveil the province's first integrated mental health patient information system. Developed in cooperation with the Ministry of Health in British Columbia and Alberta as well as the Alberta Mental Health Board, this multi-province system will allow for improved access to patient information. The system, known as Synapse, will maintain high levels of confidentiality through security protocols including the ability to identify who has accessed information.
