E North Van students hon = EIGHT students from Kumon’s § North Vancouver centres were hon- 4 ored for educational exccllence and @ personal dedication at Kumon 8 Canada’s 3rd annuai Student & Awards Ceremony held recently at the Michael J. Fox Theatre. Students received awards in the categories of junior math, senior math, reading comple- tion, and reading achievement. Some recipients are solving math problems several grades ahead of their schoo! level. Ambassador award recipients are selected for their diligence, effort and consistency in Kumon studies. Healer joins national beard JACK Marriott was recently appointed to the national board of directors for the Reflexology Association of Canada (RAC). Marriott is the first North Shore resident to serve on the RAC board in its 21-year his. tory.
