get married at Sans Souci at
no extra charge.

Add to that 24-hour
room service, an intimate
atmosphere with just 111
suites in a plantation-style
layout, and Sans Souci is just
what SuperClubs says it is, a
playfully elegant resort.

For the couple which
wants a quict, romantic get-
away, this is as good as it
gets.

The same could be said
for the Grand Lido at
Negril, although it’s bigger,
marble-and-fountains sump-
tuous, comes with a French
restaurant and white-glove
service, as well as an array of
water toys including a 147-
ft. motor yacht Zein, which
in its former life was
Aristotle Onassis’ wedding
present to Prince Rainier

When J arrived there was
a wedding on the terrace
just above the bay, a dozen
or so couples from Britain
with all the men in white
dinner jackets.

Some people come here,
however, ro take it all off,
for Grand Lido has a cloth-
ing optional beach just
round the corner.

TI went the other way,
strolling the soft sand that
stretches for seven miles in a
sensuous curve,

When I returned the

the bartender was not going
to disappoint me. “Want
some champagne?” he
asked. “Here, take the bor-
tle.”

Just across the road is
another SuperClubs resort
called Hedonism II, also all-
inclusive and offering very
good food.

I enjoyed the buffets so
much, for example, that I
never made it to the Italian
restaurant.
