Dear Editor:

I would like to use your
newspaper to congratulate
the winners in the recent
civic elections. | would also
like to thank all the can-
didates, aldermanic and
school board, for making
the election in North Van-

-couver more livelier than in ,

the past. This I think was:
reflected in the higher voter
turnout.

Finally, I would like to
thank all of the people who
worked and voted for me
and the other Communty
Electors’ Association can-
didates. As this was my first
try at public office, I found
that losing an election is not

_as bad as I thought. Running

in this election was truly a
rewarding experience as [ got
to meet many fine people,
learn more about the con-
cerns of this community and
share in the pride that all
North Vancouverites hold
for our city. ~
