The Vancouver Folk Music Feéstival is now in its third year. The Festival offers three days of music played by some of the finest folk musicians in the world in the natoral setting of Jericho Park, with fifteen booths offering a gourmet selection of west coast foods, and an enthusiastic audience. The growth of the festival Organization has been phenomenal. Performer’s agents from all corners of the world have called on Gary Cristall, the Festival Co-ordinator, to help bring their artists to Vancouver. Sx This year’s Festival brings more than 120 performers from Africa, the British Isles, the United States, and all regions of Canada. The ‘Folk’ umbrella encompasses blues, bluegrass, Celtic, feminist, gospel, jazz, ragtime, swing, and Yiddish music.
