B@ Blue Rodeo — Commodore Ballroom, Nov. 12.
Blue Rodeo had the pleasure of being the first band to play
the reapened Commodore Ballroom. The band was in fine
tune. The sound was astounding, the acoustics warm. Within
minutes, the notorious floor was in full spring.

All the way from New York, the Lunachicks are opening for
the Buzzcocks and Down by Law on the current tour. This
band rocks hard, ripping guitar riffs, bruising bass lines and terse
Ivrics. The Lunachicks rule. On drams Chip pounds her skins
with power, calculated and steadfast. The band have a new
release out on Go-Kart Records. Drums — Chip; Bas/vocals —
Squid; Lead guitar/vocals — Gina; Vocals -- Theo; and Guitar
— Sindi.

@ 54-40 — Commodore, Nov. 13.

Neil Osborne had a dream come true last Saturday night —
to play the Commodore Ballroom. The band is in the middie of
writing a new album, the audience was introduced to the new
matenal. 54-40 was tight and as always entertaining.
