Sandwich boards debated in NV District

THE LEGAL DISPLAY of sandwich boards by businesses
operating in the District of North Vancouver was the bread
and butter issue up for council consideration Monday.

Vancouver Chamber of Commerce
({NVCC) halfway to allow a regu-
lated use of sandwich boards and
temporary signs, council moved to
instruct district staff to investigate
the criteria and direction necessary
to permit use on private property
only.
