A 23-year-old man had fallen at Juniper Point and beeanie wedged in a crevice below. As members of the West Vancouver fire department rappelled down the steep cliff to the man’s location, 2 North Shore Lifeboat Society (NSLS) vessel waited in the waters below. A Canadian Coast Guard hovercraft was also present to transport the man.
