Keiti McGuinness. The artist's Gleneagles studio will be toured by children
enrolled in day camps at the Silk Purse Arts Centre this summer. Registration
begins this Saturday for the camps, oflered through West Vancouver Recreation

Commission.

KIDS with an artistic
bent can benefit from
summer day camps
offered by the West
Vancouver Recreation
Coramission.
The camps will be held at
the Silk Purse Arts Centre,
_ 1570 Argyle Ave., West Van,
. beginning the first week of
July and running to the end of
August.

The sessions run Monday
to Friday from 10 a to
noon or 1:30 p.m. to 3:30
p.m. and are designed for
children aged six to eight
years or nine to 12 years.

Children will explore a
different artistic skill each
week, luding sculpture,
painting, fibre art and print-
inaking. A tour of an artist's
studio caps off each week.
Participating artists include

Barry and Monica Shelton,
Peter Kiss, Jane Adan
Carol Arnston and lan
Rowles.

The cost is $49 per week,
which includes all supplies
and transportation. to and
from studio tours.
