Sixteen years old, a grade 11 student at Argyle Secondary School in North Vancouver, an honour student. ; And recipient of Lynn Valley Centre’s first Student Achievement Award given tc Alysa for her contribution to her community. She’s been involved in environmental groups, she is editor of her school paper, she’s a musician, poet and air cadet. She has found time to volunteer at the-North Shore Private Hospital and to work with children in need. Alysa has recentiy been selected to attend the Forum of Young Canadians, an organization which brings students from ail parts of Canada to Ottawa each year to discover how government works. We are assisting Alysa with her travel expenses. The Lynn Valley Centre Student Achievement Award will be given regularly to young people like Alysa.
