Indian spiritual
leader to visit

A SMALL group of North Shore
residents has organized the visit of
an Indian spiritual leader to Van-
couver.

Parvati Foundation spokesman
and leader of meditation retreats
for over eight vears, announced
the June 17 to 19 visit of Holy
Mother Amritanandamay1. ‘*This
is a tare opportunity for the public
to personally mect a spiritual
teacher of this magnitude.**

Ammachi, as she is called, was
born in Kerala, India in 1953. Says
the Parvati Foundation: ‘“At an
