The machine will be st Capilano Mall to the end of the month. ; MORE THAN 80 per cent of a group of major Lower Mainland industrial com- panies recently surveyed by Coldwell Banker Commer- cial Real Estate Services believe the B.C. economy will continue to grow in 1989. ; The survey was answered by 84 distribution, manufacturing and warehousing companies repre- senting 19,000 workers. Siaty-three per moderate growth and 21 per cent believe the economy will see strong growth. Forty-nine per cent of the companies believed business activi- ty will see moderate improvement during the next five years as com- pared to the last five years, while 36 per cent predict marked im- provement in business activity. A total of 35 per cent foresee free trade with the U.S. as having a positive effect on their businesses, 14 per cent believe the effects will be very positive, 15 per cent are not sure, 27 per cent see no effect and eight per cent believe there will be a negative effect.
