NV burn victim goes home BURN VICTIM Mike Pinette, 13, of North Vancouver was releas- ed from Vancouver General Hospital this week. Pinette suffered serious burns to 65 per cent of his body after a pasterious explosion in his family's East Fourth Street duplex in une. Pinette is reported to be spending the next several months at’ G.F. Strong Rehabilition Centre. Two jailed for ski theft TWO VANCOUVER men were sentenced to three months in jail Sept. 23 after they pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of stolen property. Kevin Joseph Brewer, 24, and Kosair Joseph Lucier, 25, were originally charged with two counts of theft and one count of possession of stolen property in connection with the Feb. 8 theft of two pairs of skis from Grouse Mountain. Appearing before North Vancouver provincial court Judge J.B. Poradis, the pair pleaded guilty to the possession charge. Proccedings were stayed in the other two charges against the two.
