Summer is the season to try
some creative entertaining.
With warm weather, green
grass, sunshine and beaches at
your disposal, being creative
comes naturally.

An outdoor buffet for a
large group of pcopie is one
way to throw a garden party.
Pretty paper plates and
napkins are perfect for this
type of party, and that means
very little to clean-up.

Barbecues are a wonderful
summer tradition. But, why
not try putting together an un-
traditional barbecue. Instead
of the standard fare of hot
dogs and hamburgers, splurge
with a good steak or baby-
backed ribs, and serve wine in-
stead of beer. Everything
tastes better when eaten out-
doors. Plus, it’s a great way to
make entertaining fun, easy
and elegant.

A program by the West
Vancouver. Parks & Recre-
ation -is co-ordinated by
Audrey Darroch (B.Ed.,
UBC) along with en-
thusiastic and experienced

leaders. They seek to provide ”

a variety of new experiences
for the -children allowing
them to make discoveries
about their world.

Through many of) the
‘games and crafts, the
children will also develop
their fine and major motor
skills in an enjoyable at-
‘ mosphere.

All sessions will have
unique themes with special
events * including exciting
outings.
