chalked up their third
straight win in Industrial
League soccer action, last
Sunday, defeating Pegasus
Old Boys 2-1. Although they
are in last place in the 10
team league, their victory
has put them only cight
points behind first place,
Tecum Teak.

Rive Brothers Land-
scaping, nicknamed “The
Tie Kings”, with cight in 14

Starts, posted their second
shut out in a row with a 2-0
win over North Shore
Darkroom, keeping them
tied for third place with Trev
Jones Excavating.

North Shore News missed
some excellent opportunities
to pull off a win over Lynn-

wood Hotel but could only
manage a 1-1 tie, leaving
them in second place; one
point behind Tecum, who
lost 2-1 to Trev Jones.

SCD Warehouse, a new
team im the three year old
league, has moved up to fifth
place after a slow satrt with
their 2-1 victory over
Goofy’s Place. Everyone has
a shot at top sport with four
games left in the regular
schedule.

THE SECOND annual
Mount Seymour Soccer
Association Invitational Pee
Wee Tournament will be
held April 17 and 18 at
Mahon Park, Kinsmen
Stadium, Kinsmen North
and the Carson Graham
grass complex in North
Vancouver.

Twenty teams will be
involved, including Nor-
burn, North Delta, Peace
Arch, Chff Avenue, Port

Moody, Wesburn, Point
Grey, Richmond and
Dunbar, along with the host
Mount Seymour club.

About 320 youngsters,
aged 7 to 10, will participate.

country ski trip to Manning
Park. offered by the West
Vancouver Recreation
Centre, is planned for
Sunday, March 7.

The previous excursions
have been very successful
and all have been filled to
capacity. A large com-
fortable bus will leave once
again from the Recreation
Centre at 7 a.m. and return
by 7 p.m. ;

Participants can enjoy a
day on the trails alone or
they can register for a
beautiful guided tour around
