A crime spree in North
Vancouver's Seymour

“neighbourhood was

thwarted recently
thanks to the efforts of
several alert area resi-
dents.

“North Vancouver RCMP
were called ta an Ellis Street
about 3 pam. on
Nov, 24 when an alarm svs-
tem atthe residence was
tipped. |

short time later saw'a group

of four males jumping over
the home’s fence.

A description of the sus-
pects, who failed to break into

the home and fled once the

alarm sounded, was broadcast
to all area on- duty RCMP
officers,

About 45 minutes later
the RCMP were summoned
to another home on Berkley
