Said Martyn Armstrong,

president and CEO of

SoftCare, “It really enables
business applications to talk
to cach other without all the
paper involv ed with it.

“Say you’re Walmart and
you order from manufactur-
ers, well you have an applica-
tion which handles i inventory

control and purchasing
will take the purchase order
from the application into an
electronic format, audit it,
transport it, validate that it
got it there and (then) actual-
ly move it into the other
application and into the order
entry system.”

Armstrong notes _ the
