JOIN THE West Vancouver Rec-
reation Centre this fall for some
new children’s workshops.

Children age six and up can
build their own robot, create their
own working mini-circuit, take
part in a bike rodeo, learn to write
a story of their own or act in and
produce their own play.

Mini Circuits, Saturday, Sept. >
23 from 1 to 4 p.m., is for those ae

interested in how circuits and con-
mectors work to make burglar
alarms, electronic sirens and
flashers. The workshop is for 10-
to 12-year-olds and costs $43
which includes all supplies.

On Saturday, Sept. 30 from
10:30 a.m, to noon the West Van-
couver Recreation Centre and the

No-Sew Creative Hallowe’en
Costumes will be held on Satur-
day, Oct. 21 from 2 to 4 p.m.
Children age three and up can use
their imagination to create a
unique and ‘‘one-of-a-kind”’
costume. All supplies will be in-
cluded. Children seven and under
must be accompanied by an adult.
Cost is $10.
