I realize that more investigation will have to be conducted to see why our ‘“‘swimming hole”’ is clos- ed more than it is open, but in the meantime residents must do all they can to keep litter out of the water. Someone above the waterfront has the nerve to continually dump their grass cuitings into the water along Deep Cove. Because of the poor flushing action, this grass travels back and forth betweer Seycove Marina and the surroun- Pollution is a doggone problem OPEN LETTER TO NORTH VANCOUVER DISTRICT COUNCIL Congratulations regarding the Deep Cove coliform count. You finally caught the culprit — the local dog. Not the cats, deer, geese, bear, humans or the budgies. It is essen- tial that you not blame the ducks, seagulls and geese as you are un- able to create bylaws to contain these creatures.
