ROAD CLOSURES — ROCK SCALING

HIGHWAY #99 - SEA TO SKY HIGHWAY
PORTEAU BLUFFS AREA #1

Due to circumstances beyond the Ministry’s control, rock scaling
in the Porteau Bluffs area has been delayed.

Rock scaling will be undertaken on #99 Sea to Sky Highway for
the period October 24, 1988 to November 18, 1988. The work
will necessitate continuing twenty minute closures during the
hours of 8:30 am. to 3:30 p.m. Traffic will be cleared between
closures.

In addition, there will be one hour closures for blasting from 9:00
to 10:00 a.m. on October 31, 1988, November 2, 1988 and

November 3, 1988.

The Ministry regrets the inconvenience to the public but the work
is necessary as part of our ongoing program to provide safer
travelling conditions.
