WORKING on a wooden carving is Felmar Nielsen of
Beacon Hill Lodge in West Vancouver. Beacon Hill is just
one of the many private hospitals that the North Shore
Volunteers for Residents in Care Facilities helps, offering
the patients warmth and friendship. Volunteers are stil!
needed for North Shore Private Hospital, Altamont
Private Hospital and. Cloverley House. Volunteers should
be caring, interested in crafts, committed, patient and
kind, The craft work provides achievement for the elderly
people, and there will be a sale at the West Vancouver
Seniors’ Activity Centre for those interested on Saturday,
Oct. 27 from 1-4 p.m. For further information on the
