A 20-YEAR-OLD West
Vancouver man’s deci-
‘ston to play policeman
has landed him in trou-
ble with the real police.

West Vancouer police
became suspicious when they
received a report that a
motorist experiencing car
trouble on the Upper Lecels
Highway had been aided by
a young man who had a por-
table flashing red light stuck
on the top of his car.

Police later pulled the man
over and and found not only
the portable flasher — stolen THE VICTORIA
from the West Vancouver
Fire Department — but a COLLEGE OF ART
portable radio and an

RCMP unmarked car identi-

ty card both stolen from the FALL "84 SEM ESTER

Charges of theft, and

possibly impersonating a SEPT. 17-DEC. Y

police officer, are pending FULL TIME CERTIFICATE PROGRAM
against the man. 6 SEMESTERS TO COMPLETION
