A large, practical family home of 4,800 square feet, it has four bedrooms, an office, three fireplaces, and a double garage. Designed by Tony Adamo, Danny contracted out some of the work and also took part in a large part of the con- struction. Taking four months to design and ten months to build, Danny's main concern was (to build a high quality home. Great attention to detail is evident throughout such as using 2x6's_ for construction instead of 2x4's and 2x10's for the roof. The entire house’ is over- insulated including the garage. Another energy- saving Measure was to instal a five-zone hot water heating system and a Bell radiant heat fireplace in the family room and = double glazed windows throughout The living room has a fireplace made of Cameco stone from Cahfornia and 1s filled with furniture of a contemporary design Outside the living room 1s the very large entrance foyer which ts done in Itahan tile The high gualhty= of matenals continues on into the kitchen with its) oak hardwood floors and custom-built oak cabinetry The kitchen also has a microwave oven. a built-in slave and counter top burners With an oecye for con vemience Danny tnstalled no less than 180 clectrical cutlets throughout the Nhouse as well as a central vacuum system On the outside the cedar which as cxtensively used was pressure treated for tong life Ihe chimney for the lheing room fireplace is done Mn decorative brick buropean style the double cat gatage has an clectrome door opener and the driveway is Conmstruc ted of cement Future plans would an clade ftatshing off the basement which has the Plumbing roughed in fora wet bar BUILDING A quality home was he constructed his fine Lynn Va Sunday Feature Home uppermost in Danny Larizza’s mind when the house has many features not found in other houses.
