CounterAtack committees and corporate sponsors, including North Shore Credit Union, have come up with a great party alter- native for 1990 high school grads. It’s called the Dry Grad All Night Beach Party and it’s set to take place 9 p.m. to 6 a.m., April 7, at the Lonsdale Rec Centre in Nosth Vancouver. The party is the first of its kind for the North Shore. Teens representing CounterAttack com- mittees from various North Shore high schools, and a core group of parents, have been planning the logistics for the indoor beach par- ty since October. Said Yvonne Cramer, a parent and party plan- ner, ‘‘Gibsons had one and Langley had one last year. There were 800 people at Langley last year and they're reckoning on 1,200 this year.
