TO no one's great surprise. a federal
election call was made last weekend.
The reigning Liberals are banking cn
the fact that voters have grown com-
placent, have short memories or are
satisfied enough to vote them in for
another five-year term. Seventy per
cent of North Shore voters, however,
are none of the above. Are the “don't
knows” suffering from a general
wary of an election cail so
soon? Perturbed over the lack of can-
didates with merit? Or genuinely dis-

interested? Not to worry though,

politicians have unii] June 2 to shake
your hand, flummox you with politi-

cal doublespeak and cajole you into

voting for them. Let the games begin!
