It’s National Composting Awareness
Week, April 28 to May 4 and the GVRD
and its member municipalities are gearing
up to host more than 20 community special
events featuring hands-on fun and educa-
tional activizies for the whole family.

Whether you're an avid gardener in a

throw the grass cuttings, now is the perfect
time to get started composting.

If everyone in the Lower Mainland recy-
cled their food and yard trimmings, we
could reduce household waste to the land-
