“= K- Explosive charges FIVE NORTH Vancouver men were recently charged with 25 explosive-related counts after a Halloween bomb- ing spree in North Vancouver. The men, ages 20 to 22. were arrested after a pipe bomb exploded in au Globe and Mail newspaper box at Phibbs Exchange, according to an RCMP spokesman. During the bombing rampage, a smoke bomb was set off at the Raven Pub‘s beer and wine store and a Ford Ranger truck was blown up on Lytton Street. Explosives were also detonated next to a residence on Hardy Crescent and near the entrance of Mount Seymour Park. Estimated damage to property was more than $ in connection with the bombings. Charged with possessing explosive devices, arson by explosion and mischief are Michael Chalmers. Terry Driedger, Mark Ehlers, Ravinder Grewal and Jonathan Toews.
