Ap- pearing in last weekend’s editions of The Vancouver Sun and the Province, the full page ads claim that homosex- uality and the games are contrary to the Judeo-Christian Bible. The ads go on to include a dozen excerpts frem the bible, and end by saying the games are a ‘‘call to spiritual warfare.’” Many people have condemned the papers for publishing such an anti-homosexual message, saying it is akin to promoting racism.
