marvellous here.” Penner said in
an interview. “TL especially love the
Gulf Islands. | love painting those
little islands .”*

Penner, who moved to Canada
after the Second World War, has
worked in both Britain and
Canada.

Her work, which is often shown
on the North Shore, depicts the sea
in Britain and Canada in different
moods.
